Remember, when we calculate an average (mean), you add up the numbers and then divide by the total numbers in your data.
You can do this alone or with someone.
Calculate the amount of shots you take in a minute from different places, sit ups, push ups, jumping jacks, hopping, jumping a long distance and measuring it… so much more.
I am going to do this with Ryan, Paige and Dylan. I will give you their info and you can calculate their average! Stay tuned!
My first attempt I did 86 jumping jacks in one minute my second attempt I did 85 jumping jacks in one minute my third and last attempt I did 91 jumping jacks All together I did 262 jumping jacks in 3 minutes witch would be 262 over 300 I averaged 0.873 jumping jacks.
Jumping Jacks per minute :75 I’m soooooo tired!
1.73 73+75+81+71=300 300 divided by 4 =75
2.75
3.81
4.71

1st attempt. 70……… (•̀o•́)ง – I am determined that I will get more next time
2nd attempt. 72! (=_=) – I’m surprised that I’m already tired and that I have a
stomach cramp *panting*
3rd attempt. 76………. D: – I guess I’ll always be jumping in the 70’s
The average is (*drum roll please*)……………… 72!!!

I did this with my Dad. We calculated number of basketball shots we could take in 1 minutes.
I got 7 out of 10 in 1 min which equals 70%
My dad got 3 out of 5 in 1 minute which equals 60%
