Compassion is:

• The sympathetic concern for the suffering of another.
• The emotion that one feels in response to the suffering of others that motivates a desire to help
• A feeling of wanting to help someone who is sick, hungry, hurt, in trouble, etc

There are many stories of compassion right here in our own homes, schools and community. Mrs. Ramirez reminds us that we can change the world when we are filled with love.
