Raising Children in the Digital Age will be the topic of conversation at the Family Resource Center Program on Wednesday, January 13th at 7:00 PM. Come join us as we discuss what parents need to know to keep children safe in the digital universe. The presentation by technology teachers Kim Guzas, Jacob Tanenbaum, and Randi Nerkizian will include information on cyber-bullying, social networking sites including Facebook and Instagram, as well as instant messaging and texting. We will also hear about software programs you can install at home to help you monitor and secure your child’s activity online. We will talk about how students are being taught to be responsible users of technology and help answer parent questions.
You are invited to join us for an evening of discussion on these topics and more on Wednesday, January 13th, at 7:00 PM in the William O. Schaefer School.
We hope to see you there!
