Art and Social Action: 3rd – 5th Grade

Students will create posters and signs bringing awareness to current social issues, both globally and in our community.  This art work will enhance our school environment and support school functions. Students will be involved in topics, creating art, and displaying art in our school.

When: Tuesday mornings, beginning on October 18th for a ten week block on the mornings school is in session. 8:00-8:40 a.m.

Science Non-Fiction Reading: 3rd or 4th Grade

Have you ever wondered how scientists learn about their favorite topics?  Or where they come up with their ideas for their experiments?  Well now is your chance to look a little bit closer at the books that sparked those ideas.  Come join the Scientist’s Study Hall to dive a little bit deeper into these non-fiction texts and how to use their knowledge to spark your own ideas…  Mrs. Levine will be leading this group on Wednesday mornings from 8:15- 9:00 beginning October 19th.  If your child is interested in participating please fill out the form below:
