Today we gathered as a school community to celebrate our word of the month, Patriotism. Mrs. Maureen Kelly who started the Vetiquette education program reminded students the importance of showing gratitude for our veterans and particularly for gold star families (families that have lost an immediate family member in service to our country). We had the honor of hosting and hearing from Mrs. Hodges, Mrs. Lopez and Mrs. Murphy all who lost a child fighting for our freedoms. It is our hope that these soldiers and all the soldiers who lost their lives will always be remembered. Please visit our character education for more information and details.
