February is the month to think PINK.
Throughout this month SAC is helping to sponsor an community event that will focus on showing compassion to people in school as well as outside of school.
Each student received a compassion BINGO card that gives them ideas of different ways they can show compassion. Some of the suggestions are sitting with a new person or group at lunch, making a Valentines’ Day card for a veteran or completing a chore for someone without him/her knowing.
Their goal is to to fill in one row on the card to receive a heart. If they complete the whole border they receive another heart. They can receive a third heart if they complete the whole board. With these hearts the students will write their name on it and add it to our school heart so we can see how much love we are filling the world up with.
