Today is December 1st! Cottage Lane’s word of the month is acceptance. Students were encourage to wear yellow to school for our Colors of Character Assembly. Together we reviewed the meaning of acceptance, introduced Carmen Greedy’s The Yellow Star, sang Steve Seskin’s Don’t Laugh at Me, found similarities and differences between others, and shared examples of how to show practice acceptance.
