Who would have known that an old sock could bring so much joy and information to our Cottage Lane School?
Did you know…
- Great White Sharks have two rows of razor sharp teeth,
- Snow Owls swallow their prey whole,
- A group of tigers is an “ambush” or
- An octopus will use pigment cells to hide in plain site?
This month’s challenge generated loads of creativity and research. Over ninety students participated and received a pencil and a certificate. Special recognition was given to Colin’s zebra, Isabelle’s sea-star and Livia’s hummingbird. Please enjoy this iMovie showcasing all of our entries. Try to name the sock animal!
The Student Advisory Council would also like to thank the Cottage Lane Community for donating 275 pairs of socks!
