Today, Cottage Lane dressed in red, white and blue. Ms. Murphy’s 4th grade class helped us celebrate Patriotism. With the help of Mrs. Maureen Kelly and the Vetiquette program we welcomed six Gold Star Families. The Gold Star Families addressed the student body and spoke to host classrooms. Classroom teachers prepared tribute quilts that were on display throughout our building. The quilts were designed by the students on behalf of their heroes. We hope these quilts bring comfort to these families knowing that we are truly grateful and will not forget the sacrifices they have made. Thank you to the families of Chris Hrbek, Lou Allen, Steve Vahaviolos, Manny Lopez, Robert Scott Schettig and Michael Murphy for sharing the day with us!
