SAC students met yesterday for the first time in 2019. We started off by reviewing PACE and discussed how to continue to promote it in our classrooms. Our SAC committee groups were able to meet to continue working on their goals for the year. The meeting ending by having two students present about the Smile Train initiative which aligns with our Word of the Month for February, Compassion. This started with a group of students reading an article from Storyworks with Mrs. Wagner. From there the students are promoting dollar donations to help children in need of facial surgeries that cannot afford them.
