Student Advisory Council had a successful second meeting. The students met in the planning groups based on what school activity they wanted to be a part of. Some students started planning a video about bus safety while others began doing research for new recess equipment.

Monday kicked off our first SAC sponsored event which is the Food Drive. We will be running this event from October 30th until November 13th. Canned food that is not expired as well as other dried food items and toiletries are welcome. Each class’ SAC representatives will tally the amount of items their class brings in so we can have a total from each class. The items will be donated to the food pantry at St. Stephen’s Church in Pearl River.
