On Tuesday, November 3rd, Cottage Lane came together for our Color of Character Assembly. November is white with gratitude. Together we realized how showing gratitude makes us happy. We are practicing how to show gratitude at home with family, in school with classmates and in the world with veterans. Please read more about our monthly assembly here. Students who shared their gratitude were asked to bring back their index card for a leaf to be placed on the Cottage Lane’s Gratitude Tree. We are excited to watch it bloom with gratitude. If possible, please send a video of your child sharing their gratitude to the person he or she selected by mailing it to kguzas@socsd.org . Please watch a few already submitted below.
