To Mr. Wasser’s Grade 4 Students and their Parents,

Hello!  Welcome to my blog!  Like you, this is my first year at Cottage Lane Elementary.  I’m very happy to be here and I’m looking forward to a great year.  Together, we’ll get to know CLE and all the wonderful learning experiences it has to offer!  Are you excited too?  I hope so!   

Before coming to CLE, I taught at South Orangetown Middle School for 14 years.  I taught sixth graders in the areas of Math and Science. I’m so excited to be at CLE and to teach two of my very favorite subjects, Reading and Writing. In my spare time I love reading and I write in my journal often.  Some of my favorite authors are Jules Verne and J.K. Rowling.  Some of my hobbies include building LEGOs, bike riding and reading to my son and daughter.   

I live in New Jersey with my wife, our two children, our dog and our cat.  We enjoy taking family road trips to farms, beaches and state parks.  Our cocker spaniel Buddy loves to come with us everywhere we go so, I’m always searching for places that say “DOGS WELCOME!”    

I really love to recycle .  It’s important to me and my family to waste less; we reuse and pass along or exchange items we no longer need with others who recycle too.  It’s a lot of fun and a great way to take care of our planet, Earth.
